Hidden in plain sight: the sleekest EV chargers you can put on a Perth wall

You spent good money rendering that front elevation. You do not need a chunky grey plastic box wrecking it. These units disappear into good architecture.

Most EV chargers on the market look like a router had a baby with a defibrillator. Bulky, grey, covered in indicator lights, screwed to the wall at eye height. If you have spent money making your home look considered, that thing will bother you every time you pull in the driveway.

The good news is that the better looking units are usually also the better performing ones. Here is the short list of chargers we install when the brief is aesthetics first.

Tesla Wall Connector Gen 3

Still the benchmark for a reason. Glass front, no visible screws once installed, only a single subtle LED strip. Comes in white as standard, works with any EV that has a Type 2 socket, and sits about 38mm off the wall.

Wallbox Pulsar Plus

The smallest smart charger you can buy in Australia. About the size of a paperback novel. Black or white finish, no screen, no logo shouting at you. Ideal for a rendered wall or a dark charcoal garage.

Ocular LTE

Australian designed, matte finish, the tidiest cable holster on the market. If tethered is the requirement, this is the unit that makes tethered look intentional instead of messy.

Choose the untethered version and it is essentially a clean socket on the wall. Nothing coiled, nothing dangling. Plug in the cable when you need it, put it back in the boot when you don't.
