Is the Zappi GLO available in three-phase for Perth homes?+
The GLO ships as a 7kW single-phase unit — perfect for the vast majority of Perth homes on standard single-phase supply. If you're on three-phase and want faster charging (11kW or 22kW), we'll spec the classic Zappi 2.1 or another three-phase-capable unit. We recommend the right hardware after your quote.
Does it work with my existing solar inverter?+
Yes. The GLO uses external CT clamps at your switchboard, so it works with every inverter brand — Fronius, Sungrow, Enphase, SolarEdge, Huawei, GoodWe, SMA. It reads how much surplus solar you're exporting and diverts that free power to your car in real time.
Can it pair with a home battery?+
Yes. GLO integrates with home batteries like Tesla Powerwall, Sungrow SBR, Enphase IQ, and BYD. You can set priority rules — battery first, car first, or blended — from the myenergi app.
What's the warranty in Australia?+
myenergi backs the GLO with a 3-year manufacturer warranty. On top of that, Candela provides a 10-year workmanship warranty on the install — mounting, cable run, switchboard connection, all of it.
Does it need WiFi to work?+
No. The GLO charges perfectly offline. You'll want 2.4GHz WiFi to unlock the smart features — solar diversion scheduling, cheap-tariff charging, remote start/stop and firmware updates through the myenergi app.
I live in an apartment or strata — can I still install one?+
