Sigenergy SigenStor in Perth
One unit. Inverter, battery, EV charging and backup.
SigenStor is the most talked-about battery in Australia right now, and for good reason. It stacks five jobs into one tower: solar inverter, battery storage, DC EV charging, energy management and blackout backup. Fewer boxes on the wall, fewer things to go wrong.

Specifications
What the numbers mean for you
Storage capacity
5.4kWh to 48kWh per tower
Start small and add modules later. Each module is about 8kWh, so the system grows with your family or your EV.
Inverter
Built-in hybrid, 5kW to 30kW
No separate inverter on the wall. Solar panels connect straight into the same unit as the battery.
EV charging
Optional 25kW DC module
Charges an EV direct from the battery and solar without conversion losses. One of the fastest home charging options in Australia.
Backup
Whole-home backup, under 5ms switchover
Fast enough that computers and fridges do not notice a blackout. The house keeps running.
Chemistry
LFP (lithium iron phosphate)
The safest mainstream battery chemistry. Handles Perth heat well and lasts more cycles than older lithium types.
Monitoring
mySigen app with AI energy management
Learns your usage and tariff, then decides when to charge, discharge and export without you touching it.

Sigen Gateway
The Gateway: backup, smart loads and grid control in one brain.
SigenStor batteries pair with the Sigen Gateway, the control box that ties the whole system to your switchboard. It watches the grid, isolates your home in an outage and keeps the important circuits alive. It also controls smart loads like a hot water element or pool pump, and has a port for a backup generator if you want one. On three-phase homes the top Gateway model switches to backup so quickly that lights do not even flicker.
Whole home
Backup switching for the entire house, not just one circuit
Smart loads
Automatic control of hot water, pool pumps and more
Generator port
Add a backup generator to the same system later

DC EV charging, built into the battery
The optional Sigen EV DC charging module plugs your car straight into the battery and solar array with no AC conversion in between. That means faster charging, higher efficiency and one less box on the wall. It is one of the only home batteries in Australia that can do it.
25kW
DC charging power, over 3x a standard 7kW wall charger
Direct
Solar and battery to EV with no double conversion loss

Is the Sigenergy SigenStor right for your home?
A strong fit if
- New solar installs where you want inverter and battery in one clean unit
- EV owners who want the fastest possible home charging from solar
- Homes that want genuine whole-home blackout protection
- Anyone who wants to add capacity later without replacing the system
Probably not if
- Retrofitting a battery to an existing hybrid inverter from another brand
- Very small budgets where a simpler battery does the job for less
Sigenergy SigenStor FAQs
How much does a Sigenergy battery cost in Perth?
Most SigenStor installs we quote land between $9,500 and $16,000 supplied and installed, depending on how many battery modules you need and whether you add the DC EV charging module. The federal battery rebate reduces that further. We confirm a fixed price after a free assessment.
Can SigenStor charge my EV?
Yes. The optional 25kW DC charging module charges an EV directly from the battery and your solar, which is faster and more efficient than a standard AC wall charger. It is one of the few home batteries in Australia with this built in.
Does SigenStor work in a blackout?
Yes. It provides whole-home backup with switchover fast enough that your appliances keep running. We configure which circuits stay on during the install.
Can I add more storage later?
Yes. The tower is modular. Each battery module adds about 8kWh and stacks onto the existing unit, so you can start at 8 or 16kWh and expand when you add an EV or a pool.
Is Sigenergy a reliable brand?
Sigenergy was founded by the former president of Huawei's solar division and has become one of the fastest-growing battery brands in Australia. The hardware carries a 10-year warranty and we handle any warranty claim for you.
How long does a Sigenergy install take?
Most installs finish in one day. Solar plus battery combos can take one to two days. We handle the Western Power application and meter work.
